Our client is amongst the fastest growing Chemical consultancy in Europe with 200 staff members recruited in just over a decade. Acting as an independent consultancy to the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry, they assist with Dossier and Registration support. Given a surge in demand for their services and strong brand image, joining this organisation is clearly a desirable career path.
Role and Responsibilities:

* Classification & Labelling of Substances and Mixtures according to actual European Legislation on the basis of physico-chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological data

* Preparation, authorisation and updating of safety data sheets and labels, for mainly the European market and in addition for non-European markets.

* Close cooperation and communication with our customers and the relevant authorities

Profile and Qualifications:

* University Degree in Chemistry or equivalent science,
* Knowledge of physico-chemical properties
* Experience in product safety, occupational health and safety or safety data sheet preparation
* Knowledge in transportation law would be an advantage as well as basic knowledge of toxicological and/or ecotoxicological effects
* Familiar with standard office software and willing to learn new applications
* Ability to work in a team, self motivated, self organized and decision making
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex projects
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Excellent language skills in English and German (spoken and written); additional language skills would be an asset
